Medicare rebates
With a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on up to 10 individual sessions each calendar year. To get a plan:
- Book a longer appointment with your usual GP, or one you plan to keep seeing.
- Tell them it's for a Mental Health Treatment Plan.
- Ask them to include a referral to the psychologist you would like to see.
Private health rebates
With private health extras cover, you may be eligible for a rebate, depending on your fund. Unfortunately, you can't claim Medicare and private health for the same session. You can use each for different sessions.
NDIS
Sarsha supports self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, in the practice, by telehealth or with a home visit. Fees are set in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.
